Don't forget, a lot of people just go by the cartoon. I have to remind myself of that a lot too. ;)

Will love and hate work? I love snake eyes with timber because of his martial arts skill but at the same time I hate him because everytime I tried to get him, it failed. He is such an expensive figure to obtain. I refuse to give up on trying to get him.

i am a die-hard fan of the whole franchise both comics and cartoon of course the cartoon and toy line set me off but that is only beacuse i was born in 1980 so i wasnt privy to the first couple years of the comic either way if a character sucks he will most certainly suck in any media

But am I wrong in assuming that he is/was popular? I mean he is getting the modern era treatment and fans are thrilled. Granted he is not a core character, but you guys are telling me he is not popular enough to even mention here? in that case, hows about... Lifeline is lame. |

lifeline is lame i think he was supposed to be a gay character but that would be odd being that it was a cartoon for children.

I will have to disagree with you there - there's a few characters whose portrayals in the comic and cartoon are so different that they might as well not be the same character.

Never saw the point of Seargeant Slaughter or the Fridge, weren't military just add-ons later on.

I played with the figures and had my own stories I guess... I used the lame figures as canon fodder... So Shipwreck, Bazooka, Chuckles, Grunt usually got taken out first. I loved Airborne aesthetically speaking compared to Bazooka (a guy wearing a football jersey) so Airborne was cool in my Joe world.
After watching more of the toon recently, you can see the charm of Bazooka and Shipwreck... On that note, does anyone else see Sawyer from Lost as a live action version of Shipwreck? |
