I was just looking down the list, I couldn't find any I really hated. I hate that they keep duplicating action figures in the sets. Make more figures we have not seen. I want to see Wet-suit with removable helmet.

About DDP - I don't think they understood Duke or Flint at all. They turned Duke into James Bond (and not the good Sean Connery James Bond, but the wimpy Pierce Brosnan James Bond)and they turned Flint into Jack Bauer. That whole business with Duke becoming a spy after the Marvel run was ridiculous. Here's the deal: Duke is an Airborne Ranger. He's old school Army tough. When the Joe team had folded, he would have gone back to the Ranger Regiment and Charlie Miked (Continued Mission). Duke is not fooling around, wearing civilian clothing, spying on people. He leads Airborne Infantrymen. Duke is the Army. Flint, on the other hand, would have been a natural choice for selection into Intelligence/Commando work. The C.I.A.'s Special Activities Division would have snatched him up quickly - Rhodes Scholar, language proficiency, Special Forces, Airborne Ranger, Helicopter Pilot, Explosives Expert - Flint was the most logical choice to become a spy. Instead they turned him into a hell-bent grieving widower. Killing Lady Jaye was terrible. No I don't think DDP ever understood either character.

Flint was the bad-ass Special Forces guy. Duke never would have become a CIA-man. Flint was a natural for it. DDP's Joes never really set right with me. There was some good stuff there, Barrell Roll and Mayday, but for the most part it's just meh. I liked America's Elite, for the most part. But you're right about Duke and Flint.

[QUOTE=Troynos;386492]I never thought Barbecue had a place in the Joeverse. He's a firefighter, okay... what else? Not dissing on firefighters, but in a military toyline?? He doesn't even carry a gun.
I wouldn't mind if he had firefighting equipment with him, but was also an infantry soldier. That would work. I was a Firefighter in the Army for 6 years. For every civilian job the is a military equivalent. As per the Army... We are all infantry FIRST, and our MOS second!

Give Barbecue some infantry equipment along with the fire fighting equipment. Just like there are infantry soldiers that carry heavy machine guns or rocket launchers, he would be one that carries fire fighting gear.

I hated the Psyche-Out toy when I was a kid. My brother had this figure and I always thought he was really stupid. He was neon and had an antennae on his head. Really, really dumb. All my life I felt that way, until I got to Ft. Bragg. PsyOps is one of the most interesting and amazing things the military does, and it's soldiers are some of the smartest, toughest and most capable I've ever worked with. They don't sit behind desks either. They are Special Operations soldiers who work with Green Berets, Rangers, SEALs, and Marines. PsyOps is what helped defeat Noriega in Panama in '89: Operation Just Cause. They are the tactical intersection of Intelligence and Special Operations - and they are very good at their job. Psyche-out looks weird, but I think it's great they have a PsyOper on the Joe team. I wish they would have made him look a bit more tactical, but they did have a Night Force edition. Plus he's an officer, and there are not many of those. We need Psyche-Out.

I agree that Psy Ops is important, and a Psy-Officer in Joe is great.
But not the way Psyche-Out looks, or his gear.
