I liked Slaughter, it also helped give us cool repaints later on with Slaughters Marauders.
I wish I had the con Slaughter, but I wouldn't mind seeing him appear in the 25th line. I just would rather see plenty other guys come out first. |

He was written better in the comic without all the boring wrestling balony. I HATE THAT IDIOTIC CHARACTER...DEVIL'S DUE SHOULD KILL HIM.

I did like him in the Movie to a point, I liked how he had his ass handed to him by Nemisis Enforcer and that octopus face hugger thing. And of course the spinning belt catch!

The Sarge Rules! But seriously not only iss he a good guy but he is proud of his GI Joe connection and that makes him even awesomer. You know I understand the complaints, but he was a very entertaining part of the cartoon.` Especially when he pummled Nemesis Enforcer in the movie.
I wish he wasn't exclusive to Jakks Pacific/WWE because a 25th anniversary Sgt. Slaughter would be incredibly awesome (ok, maybe I'm partial because I'm a wrestling fan..) |

Personally, I could live quite happily without ever seeing another Sgt. Slaughter GI Joe figure put into production. I don't remember him really in the comics (didn't really read comics much as a kid so I am unfamiliar with most of the Marvel run, though I'd like to catch up) but in the cartoon, he was almost pure silliness. His characterization was almost comical.
Then again, it was a cartoon. None of the characterizations were what one might call 'deep.'

So I got the Warthog driver version of the Sarge here. Love the hat feature. Plus, he stands out from the more "wrestler-looking" versions of the character, making him look like he could blend in with the other Joes. So, yeah. I'd dig a 25th version as long as he isn't wearing his ring togs, but I know that's not gonna happen. -PJ |

Hate to go a little off-topic, but this reminds me of the time I spent several years in a Junior Woodchucks-type of boy's youth organization. And my den leader was a former Marine DI.
One time after he got done yelling at one of the kids, my friend's little brother piped up. . . "Mr. Novatchick, do you know Sergeant Slaughter?" NO! NO WE-HAVE-NEVER-MET-PREVIOUSLY. NEXT QUES-CHUN! "Well, he's on TV alot and you call the phone number and 5 prufzufpurchis and--" I ORDER YOU TO SECURE THAT CHATTER YOUNG MAN! -PJ |

I hope if he is in the movie they take a page out of deliverance and make the Dreadnoks bind and sodomize him so that he will shamefully slip out of gi joe existence forever.
