Im about to order myself a wave 10 and wave 11 case from BBTS, how are the figures. Im kinda picky with my figures. My main question is how are the appearance on the figures and is it worth waiting for them to come out at your local store.
Frankly Im kinda tired of waiting constantly for the figures to come out and even though it is rewarding as hell when you find what you want it gets tireing. I mean I have not seen anything new in a while. I live in Miami and aside from Vehicles and two packs. It gets kinda tricky with the single figures. For example all we have now is wave 8 and 9 and revisions. Last edited by SnakeEyes2184; 10-14-2008 at 12:49 AM.. |

A friend of mine gets most of his stuff from BBTS now. He's generally satisfied, though he says be sure to specify collector-grade as he didn't for the Ka-Zar SDCC set and it arrived in a damaged box. If collector-grade is not available on an item, then it seems basically the luck of the draw in what you get. I've ordered stuff from them standard grade and it was MOMC and other times somewhat damaged packaging but I opened it anyway so no big deal.
I've ordered things from them myself and been quite satisfied. I think they are better to deal with for current and recent items than vintage. Their vintage people have been mean to me in e-mails when I asked what I thought were reasonable questions about items' conditions so I don't deal with their vintage department any more. But as far as new stuff goes, they're pretty good in my experience. |

I almost prefer just buying them from BBTS... my area gets hit by scalpers too often just to be sold at Frank and Sons for too high of a price.
I like their "Pile of Loot" feature, which helps save on shipping. Overall, it works out better for me... saves me on gas and time looking for figures/vehicles that I usually don't find anyways. The boxes are generally good enough for me... then again, I open everything anyways. Some of the boxes at my local Target/Wal-marts/TRUs get thrashed... |

If you're willing to pay more for items than they will be in store, than BBTS is one of the best options out there. The plus is you can be guarnteed to get the items (Although they often oversell and do cancel orders) but if you're on a tighter budget you may try to track them down in store.
BBTS is on of the best when it comes to online toys though. But with anything, you don't get to see the item before you buy it, so paint jobs and such are luck of the draw. |

I sold my entire LOTR collection and some other stuff like a year or two back to them and they were pretty awesome. Thanks for the response. SGT. Slaughter you answered my question, im real picky about Paint Jobs. Lol even my fiance is trained in selecting Joes for me. So I think Im gonna try my luck. Most of my collection is from stores in the Miami area and you can usually catch up since the are so many revision stuff out there.
I think I'll stick to the stores and important plus is they accept catch. Im trying to pay off my credit cards. Thanks alot folks. |

The only distinguished part is the "Pile of loot" which makes its more appealing.

I've been using them for a while now, mostly for Joes and love them. But FYI, I open all my stuff so card condition doesn't matter to me, but if you're a MOC collector then they of course have the "collector grade" option. |
