Who was you're first Joe? Mine was the straight arm Cobra Commander. I was lucky, when I was 5 I found him half buried in the ground at the school playground. Since they didn't show the cartoon in the tiny town I lived in I had no idea who he was. until my cousin told me his name. but he's always been my favorite ever since. So, once again; who was your first Joe and why are they special to you?

Mine was a Straight arm Grunt from the 80's. I was abut 5 or 6 and it when I seen it in K-Mmart and had to have it. It was the first Joe in my neighborhood as well!

Wrong. The cartoon was sold in syndication, so it's absolutely possible that the cartoon did not run in his town if no local affiliate purchased it. As for my first Joe...a whole bunch of them, actually. Snake-Eyes, Zap, Grunt, Cobra Trooper and Cobra Officer for sure, all at once, all as gifts for my brother and me. There may have been more but I remember those for sure.

12 years old, and it was straight arm breaker and the Ram cycle. Love at first buy.

I grew up out side a small town, isolated by mountains that blocked most broadcasts from a distance. No cable service was available, The local TV station was ABC affiliate (no Joe) and we had a PBS (definitely no Joe) we could watch and that was it - They built a relay tower on the mountain in 85' that brought in NBC CBS and FOX (yo Joe) just in time for the cartoon.
Oh and my first fig was a used helmeted cobra commander bought from a neighbor for a dollar. He had swivel arm so he must have been an 83' logo was full print he had the original gun that stuck to his back, I was so stoked. |

Who was "Trasher"?? I remember THRASHER, that came with the dreadnok vehicle. Was "Trasher" an overseas figure or something? As for me I remember the straight arm Hawk, and I also remember using a black permanent marker to turn him into an unmasked snake eyes.

My 1st was Storm Shadow V2. He is special because he single handed destroyed my love for MOTU and introduced me to a whole new universe of awesome figs with more articulation and kick ass vehicles!
