Quite the contrary it could exsist, but I don't think they would be riding around in funny looking tanks or have the appearance they do in the comics like you say. Cobra was founded by a regular guy, who was good at persueding others to his views. He was disgruntled with the Government and their "Keep the little man down attitiude", blamed everyone else for his problems, and somewhere along the way lost his way. He surrounded himself with wealthy business men to "Invest" resources into the organization. Were something like this really to happen it would be extremely short lived though.
And stuff like that happens on a daily basis. That's basically where most of the world's terrorist organizations come from. Whether it's hatred of the government or a religion and they find wealthy people that feel the same way to fund themselves.

I know this is a Cobra esk forum but I have to go with the Joe team, only because they are the underdogs. Cobra just seems to have WAY to many people...and Joe team is more of an exclusive club...

Well, it depends. Since I wanna smash some tanks, I might join Cobra and sign up for Rattler training. But if the Joes fired that pillowbiter, Ace, and got an A-10, I'd have to defect to those clowns!

If it was the 1980’s and I was still a kid it’d be the Joes.
But now I am an adult who has become more aware of the world and how it works and in doing so has become at least a bit (a lot) cynical and jaded. Add to that the current state of the world, and some of the screwed up crap going on... So I think I would have to join Cobra. Plus how cool would it be to play a hand of poker with some dreadnoks???? - |

Probably not that great. They probably suck, cheat, and I imagine due to hygene issues, they probably really stink.

The only good terrorist is a dead terrorist. |

Cobra sucks...only reason they exist is to get whooped by the Real American Heroes. Besides, they're evil...good guys all the way.
