I had some extra time today so I did to looking at the game.
I have noticed that team cobra has 44 hurt points, and 27 heal points. That is too many heals. I haven't verified this, but at this point it seems that with the current HP it is impossible for the joe team to win because cobra can heal at a faster rate than joes can kill. This just makes the game extend too long. And like this game is more about KO'ing than healing. This is a by product of having too many healers, as I mentioned would be a problem when I first made the rules. So to fix this I am imposing a HP limit on the characters. Once a character reaches their maximum HP they cannot be healed anymore. So to encourage the game to move in a direction of Koing. The maximum HP total allowed will be 10 points higher than their starting total. I will have more on this when I asses the progression further here is a rules quote from the locked thread incase some think Im pulling this out of the air. Classes and requirements All players can choose their hurt or heal power based on what class they are eligible for based on how many points they have. So one would see which class they are eligible for, and then choose one quantity to the right of it under the description. So for example if you are eligible for class 3 you can choose (-4,+1) to use and you would use this for an entire battle. [/highlight]If too many people choose to be a healer, I may have to set a maximum amount that players/characters can be healed too. This would be needed if there aren’t enough hurt points, which would cause the game to come to a healing contest in which there would be no end to battles. So keeps this in mind when choosing your class that hurting/ ko’s are encouraged. Getting Ko’s is the quickest way to get points for yourself. [/highlight] |

thanks young at least it's something to try, hopefully this will improve things
so are we going to play out this round? because being down over 40hp it is already out of hand after one day, or are you going to cap the hp starting today, and play out the current round |

So the joe team may be done by 40 right now, but im sure a lot more players have played. I think that a lot of joe team players see that they are down and are getting out played by cobra in just about all forms of the game it discourages them to post. Cobra is taking all the momentum. If the joes all play tongiht there should be no excuse why the difference in HP should very far from 21. So the joe team needs to get there act together, get everyone on the same page, understand the rules in place, and get some momentum back in their favor. Look at the last game, cobra go toff to a quick start and stole all the momentum. Then the Joe team finally got their act together and made progress. SO I KNOW IT CAN BE DONE. THE JOE TEAM JUST HAS TO HAVE THEIR PLAYERS PLAY. If you have less players playing after each battle, ans cobra maintains the same omount your team is just going to fall behind more. I did the stats for the first battle and kept track of stuff. So I can show you what happened see this end of day 23rd(day 1) joes had 200 points and 11 non players cobra had 8 non players and they had 205 24 joes had 178 and 4 non players cobra had 183 and 4 non players 25 j - 153 and 6 non players c - 166 and 2 non players 26 J - 132 - 9 non players C- 147 and 5 non players 27 J - 111 and 4 non players C - 129 and 4 non players 28 J - 91 and 10 non players C - 122 and 6 non players 29 J - 76 and 6 non players C - 103 and 4 non players 30 J - 48 and 10 non players C - 92 and 4 non players 01 J - 27 and 7 non players C - 75 and 5 non players 02 j - 6 and 6 non players C- 57 and 4 non players SO if you notice the trends here cobra simply has played more, the Joe team had the ability to win the battle but cobra stole all the momentum from the joe team, sucked the life out of them, and the joe team posted less each day while cobra posted more. During the second battle The losing team was given the choice of a time to start so that they couild get off to a good start, but by the looks of things it seems that has backfired and cobra got off to a better start having more of their players post. |

When I was leading the joes we did some small things that go a long way in getting people to play. Im betting that cobra's leaders have recognized this and are doing the small things and having their team post a lot. If you look at my above post, cobra got their players to post more as the battle went on. Being a leader in this game is more important that some may realize. You in fact set a tone, and create the right attitude in which your players follow. The joes need to step up their game! They are takign some steps in the right direction. The joe team needs to hold the ship together and continue to move in the right direction. |

Is that in effect for this battle or next battle?
This situation can't be blamed on Cobra having too many healers. We actually have a very good balance. We have been keeping stats too. The Joes aren't posting as much. The only way you can blame that on Cobra is to say that we demoralized them. Surely, you're not saying that!
