Comic Pack Wave 5 Reviews at GeneralsJoes

Better late than never, right?

Got my new camera in the mail and broke it in by finally getting some reviews up for the latest wave of Comic Packs.

Check it out!

Cool reviews, but I've noticed on most of your figures there are paint app mishaps (Falcon's forehead has green on it from the beret, stray apps are on Nememis Enforcer's face as well) I was wondering why that never gets commented on?

Well, because as you said, it's something with every figure. When it comes down to it, it's machinery that sprays these paint apps, and machinery is never perfect. There's paint bleed and paint "slop" on 95-100% of the figures out there, so why make specific mention of something like that? I figure collectors are used to it at this point and don't feel the need to point out specific flaws that are either just part of doing business, or are just specific to my figure and not something that anyone else will experience.

Just my .02 on it.

Justin

Thanks man!

I was able to pick all three up. Actually two of the Destro/IG ones. Gave the Destros to my son. Needed two IGs to flank my IG Destro.

I actually like the Falcon. Sure it could have been a little better, but SO glad to have my childhood fav redone 25th style. Nemesis Immortal becoame a chew toy for my dog. JK, I dont even have a dog, but he did get traded away the same day.

Tripwire is cool. Better than I expected. The new Cobra Commander has become my default. I love the regal look. Now that's what I call a general!

Welp hate to bump an old Thread (just saw it)

That's true and a valid point, it's just something I never see anyone make a comment on it. The strange thing is nowadays ther are lots of poorly painted figures but neither me nor any of my friends had a Falcon with green on his face in 1987, and I doubt the technology changed
