Why do a majority of Joe display stands have two pegs and the majority of the Cobra display stands have only one?? Is there really a legitimate reason for this?

I think it has something to do with the GI JOE logo being larger than the Cobra logo. The extra peg supposedly allows for better use.

Yeah, people asked Hasbro to put 2 pegs to get a better fit on the Joe's. Cobra stands didnt have the interference of the Cobra logo like the Joe stands had with the "GI Joe". But now that more Cobar figures are getting heavier back packs, they could use 2-pegs as well, to keep them from toppling over.

The Double pegs also make the figures Sturdier. They should be on all stands, but the Joe's needed it more.

In addition to another peg, it would help if the Cobra stands didn't have the lone peg so far back on the stand. Many figures' heels hit the edge of the frame... it's the opposite problem of the Joe stands. The stands look neat and all, but the functionality is pretty lacking.
