Hey everybody,
Are TRU prices really expensive compared to Walmart or Target? I live in Indianapolis, so not sure if it is only here, but the 25th Anniversary single figures are sold for $10.99 a piece! (They don't have any of course..) I know they will be coming out with TRU exculsives next year, and if TRU prices are this high, I might have to pass on them. Last edited by taz98spin; 10-23-2007 at 09:48 AM.. |

If I were you I'd drive down to Columbus or Bloomington to get them for 5.99 a piece.

Thanks, I'll have to do that. Or just go to Walmart and find them at 4.88 a piece |

Holy poop man. $10.99 for a single! That's crazy. The single cobra commander I saw at my local TRU was $4.99. I don't know whats up with the prices up there..

Could it be that you the figure was on an incorrect peg?

Sounds to me like some local TRU manager knowing these are hot and deciding to gouge people. The price almost everywhere...and at every TRU I've seen..is around 5 bucks.

I just purchased a Cobra Box set from TRU and it rang up $29.98 instead of $24.99. I was rather upset.

On second thought, I agree more with Irid's hypothesis.
