I just started getting back into collecting Gi Joe after a long 17 year break ,i have been collecting since then with Star Trek ,some Mac Farlane figures ,and most recently the Star Wars line since 97 ' .I was getting more and more frustrated with poor selection for Star wars ,that was available for us collectors here in Canada ,so i felt a break was needed from Star Wars ,now i am going to start with Joe collecting again .
What other lines do you guys collect ? |

when i got back into action figure collecting, i picked up quite a few of tha x-men figures from tha 90's. im also a big anime fan, and have tha evangelion revoltech figures, i need tha mass production ones though, i also have tha other ones kaiyodo made that were a bit bigger. i havnt looked too much into tha marvel legends, but i want tha aoa sunfire thats coming out, and there are quite a few more i might pick up. but i think joes are tha best action figures of all time. and im pretty sure thats it, there may be more, but ill have to check

i was a huge star wars fan, collected most of the potf stuff up until episode 1. then i was pretty much done with it all.
was buying a lot of transformers stuff. not the actual toys but just weird odd and ends that i'd come across. and I was way into marvel legends. I have pretty much everything up to when hasbro took over. then i hated what they were doing with the line and gave it up. that line is pretty much dead to me, so i'm slowly getting rid of it all.

I also have an odd collection of female figures ,alot of figurine lines i've see don't really appeal to me except if they have one exceptional female figure that stands out above the rest .I own Dr Blight from Captain planet (awful 90's cartoon)Lt Hitchcock -Seaquest DSV (another bad sci fi show)Barbarocious -Warriors of virtue (another forgettable film that bombed)Shaya -power lords (1982) a three eyed babe that was best figure of the series .I think it is good to have a bit of variety in your collection ,i am working on displaying two more detolf Ikea cabinets ,i'll post the photos once it's done .

>>>>>> Ah me too ,i have most of the series from 1995 to present ,the early POTF 2 series was truly awful ,like the overly "buffed" Luke Skywalker ,and who could forget the rocket firing R5 D4 what a piece of rubbish that is ? |

I am trying to get most of what I remembered as a kid, moc/mib but it is tough, I got 99.9% of the vintage TMNT stuff I wanted, a bunch of ghostbusters, first wave and a few others from SW POTF2, no vintage yet, some vintage Joes,
I want to get some vintage Transformers and He-man along with some new stuff (it gets addicting) some mighty muggs. And lots of odds and ends figures. I was almost completely out of toys until this G.I. Joe 25th ann came back, now I am back in full swing. |
