Look, they were designed to be urban soldiers in a time when most people were wearing lots of neon colors. It made perfect sense. They weren't supposed to be invisible commandos, they were meant to be seen and feared.
Cobra uniforms have never been about practicality. You think Zarana would wear a one-strap torn shirt into battle if it was?

Even tho i am going to preorder him momc through bbts. 89'alley viper does suck! I just hope hasbro goes no further past 1990 joes. For that is where i draw the line with collecting these remakes. And the only reason he sucks for me. Is because he does not fit in with my 25th cobra loose army. I have been troop building. But momc i can deal with. And for all you guys who want him . I will be sure to pick him up for you . So that i can trade for some stuff that i do need for my loose army.

I wish the people who hate them so much would hold to their word and not buy them so I'd have a shot at actually finding these things when they hit stores. One can dream, right?
P.S. Urban Camo for a later repaint, but I want my Orange Alley Viper! |

Look, they were designed to be urban soldiers in a time when most people were wearing lots of neon colors, so the uniform was "cool" looking at the time. The uniform is very visible, was very in style at the time, and made a statement. It made perfect sense. They weren't supposed to be invisible commandos, they were meant to be seen, and to be feared.
Now if you want to pick on the EcoWarriors, I won't argue with you Cobra uniforms have never been about practicality. You think Zarana would wear a one-strap torn shirt into battle if it was? |

i think your the one into rainbows bud, dressing up like a cobra trooper in your avatar talking about florecsent colors, are you sad because you couldnt find a pretty bright orange outfit to dress up like alley viper? is that why your raving and crying over how alley viper is your least favorite joe? i think you need to keep opinions like these to yourself and quit being such a hater. we all know how much you love the power rangers, you look younger then me son. get a life and quit hating on a great figure. |
