Ok I was reading a thread and someone said we should start a thread on wasted gas. Well, here it is!! On my own account, I would like to say, I use very little of my own gas in my hunts. Now, I have a friend or 2 that are willing to run into town and I climb in their vehicle and hunt with them. Occasionally, my mom wants to make a run to a few places, and we get in her car and I continue my hunts. But possibly in 1 month I can drink 2 tanks of total gas in the hunt. So I woulda say around 120.00 a month at the most. But it's worth it when I find my Joes!!

Less then 1/4th tank in a months time on these, I walk to target by my house and I have them pre-ordered. However I do, do a mega hunt once a month which I blow a whole tankful of gas on finding other stuff I usually go the 17th of every month don't ask me why IDK.

To be honest with you I would have to say next to none.
I say this because I plan my trips to places. In other words. If I am already going there for whatever, I can look for Joe's while I am there! |

Can't beleive you actually used this thread!!! Really funny. Hey, do I get royalties? lol.
I probably burn through a good $100 or so a month in my hunts. I know I could order some of it online (and I do), but I guess I like shopping!!! .......for Joes. |

I have 2 Walmarts, 2 Toys R Us, and a Target all within a 30min round-trip drive from my house. I just go in a big oval around the county and hit everything 2-3 times a month, so I'd say 3-4 gallons a month, tops.

I also have 2 Targets, a TRU and a Wal Mart nearby. There is also 3 Targets, 2 Wal Marts, and 2 TRUs with 10 miles of my business. So I get around. I can go in one giant loop and hit them all. Takes me about 3 hours or so, lol. But I don't burn that much more gas than I would normally. Truck gets pretty good gas milage, so I guess I can't complain.

Same here. I hunt for Joes only when I'm at a location already. Going to Wal-Mart for groceries? Make a stop at the toy section. Going to the Movie Theatre? Make a stop at the TRU across the street. I figure a) be patient, they usually make their way to my area b) I can trade with fellow Central Floridians who like to hunt c) I can buy them for under retail online. (I open, so loose figures are the way to go for me.)

I don't hardly waste any at all. I live really close to a Target and a couple Wal Marts. When my wife and i go to other places, i will check other Wal Marts in town and even TRU...
