JoeCon is always a good time no matter where it is.
As for local shows in your area, I suggest networking with other collectors in your area to find local toys shows.

It really is a good time. I've made some very good friends from the three cons I've been to. We all look forward to seeing each other every year . . . in fact, this year I plan on visiting some in October. If you go in knowing a few people, either online or personally, it's a lot more fun than going at it alone. Joes during the day and friends and adult beverages at night. You might not get a lot of sleep, but it's totally worth it!

But of course George. It certainly isn't because of Skarapz and Card. ;)

Yeah, I guess we here in Seattle/Tacoma area get shafted... lol.. Even if there was something in Vancouver B.C. I would go, just dont like the crazy streets!
Just so I know, What is a "Joecon" like? I watched some vids, but didnt really get much from them... I was at a baseball card con once but that was when I was 7. Is it just endless Joe's and different vender's? I dont know if I can go this year, funds are tight and I may be out of the country.... errr...

So, rather than creating a new thread, I figured I'd ask my question here. I'm going to try to make it out to the next JoeCon in 09, how does it work as far as getting the exclusives. Also, how much have tickets been in the past? Is there a limit to how many exclusives you can buy? How much was "Tanks for the Memories" and PPD? Is it usually like Thursday thru Sunday, just the weekend, or what? So many questions....
