I'm sitting here with a broke freshly broken toe (happend like 45 mins ago) and can barely walk, and it got me thinking about this, what was the coolest way one of your old JOES broke during play.
Here's mine... -Dropped Buzzer out of my rafters and he exploded on impact. -First edition grunt was "jumping from vehicle to vehicle" and his o-ring broke and halved him mid jump. -A brick fell off my deck and sheered Dr. Mindbender's head off because he had a loose screw. Body was perfect, head just popped clean out. -A little boulder rolled over Snake Eyes and ripped his crotch piece and butt piece off. -Another brick fell on Low-Light and squished the top of his hand, leaving only his thumb. -I catapulted Zandar into my old house's roof and forgot about him and he basically melted into the shingles from the sun and weather. -Eco warriors Flint was on an Estes rocket i launched and when he came down he hit the street with such force he broke his arms off at the elbows. All have now been replaced and I have em' near mint. Any other stories feel free to share. Would love to hear them. |

With spare parts of my old Joes, I used to make figures. Then take them outside and put them in front of MY firing squad of BB and pellet guns. But to make them explode to 10 pieces, I used a .22 rifle and laid waste to them. Especially if they had broken thumbs and crotches, they just weren't any good any more.

The coolest way I broke a Joe was when a friend of mine came into some M80's, the battle my Joes had that day would rival WW2 and Vietnam. Sadly to say though I regreted it afterwards, ya my friend thought it was awsome and I thought I was awsome for doing it with him, but I knew deep down inside I was an idiot for doing it and wish I could take it back.

LT Falcon, Rocoil, and Rock n Roll were recon in my backyard when I was sniping them with my Pallet gun.
Skidmark and Cross Country meet BBQ melted all the way down. The worst was Deep Six when I was playing in the sink mom did the dishes and I guess I forgot he went in the drain and she turned on the disposal broke the disposal. I got my @$$ beat on that one. We lived in a turn of the centuury home. I ran from my dad right accross the floor heater still have the scares to prove it. So when we went to the Doctor, the doctor asked if they tried to cook me. LMAO. When I'm sleeping on the couch the kidds see my feet and I tease them that when I was bad my mommy tried to cook me. LOL keeps them away from my GI JOE's lol |

firecrackers... that pretty much explains it. explosions and joes, just seemed natural at the time.

Well, I was'nt a kid, but I broke one with my then-GF. Tunnel Rat broke an O-ring, um.....oh Jesus....searching tunnels.....? True story, and I thought kind of funny, so I posted it in a PG sort of way. Please don't kick me off.
