30th, 35th, 40th Anniversary, when will you stop collecting?

it seems that ever 5 years we are treating to new life in our favorite toy brands. Star Wars, Transformers, MOTU, and G.I. Joe have reissued the original toys in some form or fashion. I have all the Star Wars Vintage Original Trilogy (the ones that are packaged like the original figures), I have all the Joe 25th up to date, and the Transformers Re-issues from Takara in the book style and some the TRU re-issues. I think after the G.I.Joe line is done with the 25th anniversary style then i am done as well. I just can't keep up with every anniversary! Don't get me wrong, these re-issues are cool, but to a certain point. I don't want a storage facility packed with toys in boxes, i want to have them displayed and not taking up a whole room. just one wall.

I'll stop as soon as Hasbro makes the Flagg, Terror Drome, and Defiant.

I don't know when I will stop. I guess when they (Hasbro) stops re-releasing the items. On the other hand, I do not collect any other action figures other than the G.I.Joes and then only the 3 3/4" line. Don't get me wrong, I love the Transformers and the Star Wars collectables but I will always be loyal to the Small Joes. I am more interested in the Transformers and Star Wars movies, cartoons and comics, but with the Joes I love it ALL.

I will collect the 25th GI Joe line till the end or like said till it starts getting dumb, aka neon colored stuff or to SiFi looking. I doubt I will collect any other anniversary GI Joe makes. Time will only tell about that. I too only collect GI Joe so that does make a big difference. I couldn’t see collecting much more without going broke. Luckily for me I already collected most of the Batman stuff I wanted before the 25th line started. Doing both at the same time would have been very hard money wise.

I don't 'plan' on stopping collecting. I guess it'll just happen and I don't like to think that far ahead.
