I got my Lady Jay and Buzzer yesterday..but since I only got a hold of two..both cards were fine. The box was about 12x8 flat rectangle box. Just enough for 2 figs.

I've ordered from Hasbro about 5 times or so, and its hit or miss. Sometimes I get mint cards, sometimes I get bent, sometimes mint bubbles, sometimes crushed. They clearly don't make keeping the boxes mint their top priority. If you want to guarantee mint boxes, you should probably pre-order (very early, mind you) from BBTS or some such place. . .

first three singles i picked up from walmart, snake eyes, storm shadow and hooded CC, all had warped cards right there on the pegs. looked almost as if they had gotten wet.
i open everything...but for you mint-on-carders i feel your pain. |

Prime, same thing here. I just received my order from them with a Wave 1 SS, CC, SE, and the cards are warped and scratched on the foiling. My box had plenty of room though and weren't crushed together, so I'm thinking they were already like this.
It appears what they are selling is the "slightly damaged" figures that they are also selling through the GI Joe Collectors Club. You can see what I'm talking about if you sign up with a free Trooper membership. http://mastercollector.com/ Last edited by Tin_Trencher; 10-11-2007 at 02:23 PM.. |

mr prime the same exact thing happened to my brother. I was literally walking by as he began to open his box that he had just received and the first thing I said was, "What the FU** they fit all those in that box and they didn't even add peanuts"? Some of his came dinged up pretty bad and I was shocked that they came this way from the Motherland , Hasbro.

I don't get HTS's frugal packaging. I lucked out with my wave 3 figs, but my PDD came very warped. As is usual, the boxes contained only a few large bubbles of padding; just enough to cover one side. If this was coming from an eBay seller I'd consider dropping a neg over this.
