Yep, they have nothing but garbage. They have gone way down hill from the Toys R Us of the 80's.

See, now here we are ranting about some BS because they don't carry what we want or need. There are some days I call it "Disappointments R Us", but I can't complain because when they do have stuff, it's like a goldmine. I guess we should shut down Wal-Mart and Target because OH DEAR LORD.. THEY DON'T HAVE ANY WAVE 9!!!!! If you don't like it.. go to EBAY!! Someone there will have it.. and you can pay 2 prices and then bitch because you lost your ass on there too and want to shut it down also. Stop the damn madness.
Then you would complain also if they did shut down because why?? No more exclusives!!! BOO HOO Last edited by The Batman; 08-14-2008 at 12:01 PM.. |

by this logic, hasbro toy shop should shut down too?
TRU is Times Square has been terrible for single card figures for me, but is EXCELLENT if you're looking for wave 1 or 2 comic packs and are looking to army build CC and Duke. Otherwise, TRU seems fine. I finally got a Wii online from them at a reasonable price. |

At least you have a TRU to check. Nearest one to me is about 220 miles away.

I agree that TRU is very bad on stocking Joes, and a lot of other merchandise most of the time. But it does get exclusives (well, at least for you folks in the US), and when it does get stock, it gets a lot.
Yes, its hard to find joes there, but its hard to find them everywhere. I vote that Hasbro improve distribution of TRU increases orders. |

it the biggest toy store there is.
which means there's lots of room for nothing. if it werent for the exclusives, i probably wouldnt even look at the building. |

Toys-R-Us is the only reason I even got 2 complete sets of waves 7,8 & 9 and 1 complete set of wave 1 vehicles and DVD BattlePacks. (And just recently the ultra class PowerGlide & SilverBolt and deluxe Galvatron & AcidStorm from the TransFormers Universe line.) I just ask management what days they are getting their truck in, and if I can't find one I just ask an employee to peek into the computer room at the large calender they have on the wall in there because they usually have marked what days their trucks come in two weeks ahead of time. (Plus it really helps that I don't have to be at work until 11:00AM, so I can get to Toys-R-Us when they open at 10:00AM and get first dibs.) In my area, I usually hit Target, Ross and the 3 Wal-Marts on whatever day Toys-R-Us gets their truck in and then E-mail my area friends what I saw where and when to keep them updated.
