since so many people have the black cc's now it kind of sucks in a way in the sense that it has taken value away from them. im glad everyone who wants one is able to get one and i dont care because im not trying to sell them like crazy or anything but its like they have no value now.
when they first dropped people were willing to pay 50.00 all day for one. atleast the blue cc's are still worth something. but my point is that they should of only made a low amount so that they were more a valuable piece. anyone understand what im getting at? |

News flash: they did make a relatively small amount of them. Far smaller than any of the normal figures in the line. It'll probably still sell for more than the retail price of a typical figure, but if you're not trying to sell them, why does it matter? Your post just reads like sour grapes that your toy isn't as salable as it was yesterday.

i was trying to be as positive as possible when i wrote the thread in the sense its cool people can get them but at the same time it sucks, because since tere arent many valuable figs in the 25th line yet, it would of been nice to have another one. you see what im saying?
and you say they made a small amount well why is there about 3-5 on every page of ebay? thats not small amount compared to the sdcc destros. and by the way you dont have to be such a polesmoker when you reply to a thread, im sick of everyone being a ahole when im just making conversation. |

The 2 CC's were still the fastest SDCC exclusives to sell out on HTS.

If I recall correctly... the PDD Gold and Silvers had pages upon pages of them for sale on EBAY weeks after the SDCC last year (I even sold a few on Ebay, 2 weeks after the SDCC, for under $30... now they are $100+). This is the same scenario and once the auctions start to fade away... months down the road... you will see a few on Ebay, just like the PDDs, and at higher prices.
Does anyone know the final product count?

I do man, I actually feel the same way but would have phrased it a bit differently. I just look at it as the whole point of collecting is to have a collection for you, but still have some rare pieces and some vauable ones, whether to just look at and enjoy, or trade later for other HTF things, etc...it makes it worthwhile to know you have some rare, sough-after items.
Don't worry coola, there are people here who feel the same way. |
