Does anyone know which days of the week each retailer stocks new toys? I think this will help everyone if we can get legit information pertaining to this. If you work at the stores, or know which days new product is put out, PLEASE post here!

Let me say beforehand, I do NOT work at any stores, but have hunted figures long enough, and talking to many store associates, I am fairly certain of two things:
Wal-mart stocks daily, between the hours of 11-7 AM (EST) Targets stock after hours, with the AM crews finishing up. Shipments come mostly on trucks, but sometimes UPS (I know for Target anyways) brings things around here around 4 PM (EST). They did this last year with the Wii. Hope that helps, but I think its just a simple case fo looking looking looking |

Some Wal*Marts start stocking after hours also.. You can usually see them moving pallets around before they close and can possibly get them to open up something. My 2 local 24 hour WMs usually start stocking at 10pm.

I found new joes at Target on a Saturday morning (wave 2) and a Friday morning (wave 3). I don't know if those just came in the night before or if they sat in the back for a bit.
Just tonight I found the legions 5 pack at Target, but I have no idea how long it sat in the store. It definitely wasn't there yesterday, though. This may not help, but I thought I shoudl post my experiences at Target. |

My Wal-Marts have told me they have trucks coming in every day. And I believe that. They say they're alway's stocking something around midnight or so (possibly sooner, as I see the pallets around 10), but they never know what department they're doing ahead of time. At least that's what they tell me.
Target says, "Thurdays after close." -PJ |

Okay folks, from what I've gathered here, I have concluded the following thus far:
Walmart:Daily, starts@11pm. Target:Thursday night after close. |

I have found both target and wall-mart stock after hours.Usually thursday or friday nights. That has been my luck with the single figures. The 5 packs seem to come whenever.I know they stock the toy sections nightly at both stores.Toys.r.us seems to stock friday nights.
