It dosen't bother me really. In fact I think it looks good on some figures. Agree about the alternate hands thing

NO! Gimp hands Suck! first with CC, its cool that he can ball his fist and show his dominance as a pose but if you want him to hold a weapon........
I guess for posing the Gimp hands are fine playing wise or posing with weapons wise "houston we have a problem"

A GI Joe figure should be able to hold a gun in both hands and move all its joints like every other figure in the line, none of this bullshit.

Shipwreck needed a closed fist, he can't go around backhand bitch slapping every Cobra trooper he sees. Sometimes you gotta scuff up the knuckles.
I voted yes to some, for some reason Quick Kicks hand bugs me. Destro's gnarled left hand kinda seems odd too. |

I'm in between. I don't mind Destro or Cobra Commander sporting 'fixed' hands like they do, but Shipwreck, Quick Kick and others with the close fist, on the side with their holster no less, irritate me.
If the sculpting makes sense or works with the figure, then I don't mind, but if it has no business being there or serves no purpose, then no, I don't care for it.

I like to try and pose my figures to make them look like the way they appear on their card art. With that said I do wish that some figures came with a so called "gimp hand".
Take Flint for instance. On his card art he has one arm raised in the air with his hand clenched into a fist. I wish he came with that gloved fist like Shipwreck has. That way I could have posed him perfectly the way I wanted to. I like the idea of the figures being shipping with exchangeable hands like some other members have already mentioned, but that would just make the prices of these figures go up more than they already are now.

By some, I mean a very limited some...mainly CC. Love the fist pump pose. But not all CC need it because some must hold a gun and staff or sword.

I don't think the price would go up. Look at the BAT with all his gear and the Para-Viper or Mutt and Snake Eyes with essentially another figure/accessory in their canine partners. I think additional hands would work great, assuming they served a purpose... Quick Kick could have benefitted from this.

If it is a second version of a character I am perfectly happy with it. If it is the sixth version I demand it
