I'm not gonna buy these. I collect Marvel figs too, and I hut have zero of their line of the same genre. But alas, they are cool for the kiddies. But if I had kids, i'd skip this line and send 'em right into modern era land. Unless they really liked the Combat Heros better. Although, I can see a lot of the female JOE collectors buying these up because they are cute. |

I am totally on board with Combat Heroes. I've been collecting the 25th for when my three month old son gets to be six or seven, I figure the Combat Heroes are a nice bridge between now and when he's old enough to play with the big guys.

My guess? Three year olds aren't really into snarling, vicious animals. The line is intended for little, little kids (though collectors will probably be the main consumers) so Hasbro is trying to keep it kid-friendly. Though, how kid friendly is a ninja with an enormous sword and an uzi?
