Got my '07 con set in the mail!

:eek: These are just plain gorgeous. My faves are the troopers and the new Doc. The way they innovated these sculpts is a step above their previous efforts. :cool:

too bad you didnt attend, there were lots of cool stuff. The Collectors club table was selling the Valor vs venom carded figurs for 4 buchs each, 3 for 10! I finally got my razor trooper and new viper army, and enough duke & gung ho figures to justify buying those custom heads I see all over the web.

I'm surprised at how quickly they got these box sets in the mail. I got mine Wednesday afternoon. I do agree w/ Obiwanjacoby, these figures are wonderful. The female troops were a brilliant idea and even the Joes are great...esp. Doc.

I think they mailed them out that thursday or friday at the con, after all the attendees got theirs.

as for getting my swag home?

...it helps that your best friend you brought with you works for FEDEX-Kinkos, but most of the stuff fit into our suitases (we learned from last year, pack light.)

oh, and I asked SEVERAL TIMES at the Hasbro panel about a Big Lob figure, even sugested a G.i.joe the Movie DVD pack with an exclusive big lob and Pythona figure. (would probably retail for 30 bucks ,.. Id buy it!)

they thought it was an interesting idea (IE: no plans for it) but it may see shelves if the movie is a hit, which will up the awareness of G.Ijoe products

THANK YOU! As long as they know there's a demand for it. He's not as lame as everyone made him out to be. When I was a kid, my best friend down the street was just like that.

They accept a character that speaks in rhyme, but not Big Lob? :confused:
