Provide good clear pics.
Try to list you items so that they end on Sunday. I have had more success with participation/prices if my items end on Sundays. If you are selling your collection try to list it in small groups vice the entire thing all at once. As far as the prices you are the judge you know what value they hold to you.

make sure you have good pictures and a good description of the items you are selling. starting the bid low is a safe bet but if you have some valuable items that you shouldnt sell for less than a certain price you have in mind, you may want to set a reserve or start the bidding higher. be sure to have a gallery picture also, I usually skip over auctions that dont have pictures.

Im too worried the auction will start and stop at 99 cents so I keep mine a tad higher. Here is an example of what I am talking about. GI Joe 25th Anniversary BARONESS in RED SCUBA OUTFIT - eBay (item 140253850992 end time Aug-03-08 20:24:10 PDT) I had one for a Buy it now for $10, than $9, than $6 before it finally sold and this one practically pays for the whole DVD pack.

yeah I start at 99 cents, and set the price on shipping High just in case... also great pics are the best....... Stating that there is NO RESERVE also makes it attractive, as people will bid on something that has no reserve and starts at .99 cents.
as for LOTS, they can hurt if the figs are desirable, individual makes cash, but if you have one good one, and throw in some so so figs, then you can get rid of the others, as people will bid on the lot for only the good figure... |
