OK I got a question. I am sure everyone here has seen the GI JOE MOVIE from the 80's. And we all know he got himself turned into a snake via spore. Now, did they actually leave him like that or was he turned back because I remember that in the early 90's it seemed like they made a few GI JOE episodes but I never caught them. I do remember seeing some video on YOUTUBE that the Baroness had found a way to bring the Commander back to form. Now, how right am I, and if anyone has some answers, let us speak about the Commander.

You are correct. The newer show created in the 90s had him as a snake, and 'Operation Dragonfly' was the series that had the Cobra team bring him back to a half-human, half-snake person. He would go on to wear the battle-armor from there, and then back to the hood.

Unfortunately, they're very hard to obtain. You might get lucky and get a mediocre copy from ebay from folks that taped them from back then. Until some secures the licensing for those shows from DiC, it'll be a while.

Download veohtv online. I've been able to watch a lot of the season 1 and 2 episodes on there, and they also have a lot of the dic series as well. It helps to do a search for the actual title of the episode if you just put in gi joe it doesn't bring up all of the ones that you can watch. They also have other old cartoons like Thundarr the Barbarian I've found on there also.

Ah, but the card back to the SDCC CC version of him had the REAL story of why he became CC. ;)
