Cobra Cargo Helicopter? (Comic version)

I remember as a kid wishing Hasbro would make a toy of the Cobra cargo chopper, as seen in the comic book (Battle of Springfield, Cobra Island etc). In general Cobra toys were lacking in the infrastructure dept, everything was heavily offensive. No troop carriers and outside of the Terrordrome/ Cobra bunker not allot of base building stuff. I always liked that helicopter design and how cool would a 25th anniversary version be? They could release it opposite a Dragonfly or (!) Tomahawk retool.

Any chance anybody's done a custom?

hey i am down with a cobra cargo chopper. for that is the only way the para vipers and para troopers are going to make it to the battle. SINCE THEY DO NOT COME WITH PARACHUTES!

I would love 1 or 2 of those!

Cobra Commander decided the Paratroopers could do more damage landing on the Joes than shooting at them.

Yep...that was the one I was thinking of also. I managed to grab one of these from amazon a month ago...they were marked down to 12 bucks.

I definitely agree that they need to come out with the cargo chopper, I've been wanting one since I started reading the comic back in the day.
