I hope everyone reads this and starts to understand how things REALLY work, instead of making assumptions and spreading theories that become false realities throughout this site. Thanks for taking the time to spell it all out.

Look I'm sorry this 10 step rule does not exist in my walmart. These people especially on the night shift are awful and have a chip on there shoulder not just in the toy department every department. I've watched people stand around and talk while I climbed up to the overstock to get an item. I do not believe I'm the only person having bad experiances at walmart. I don't believe hasbro is shipping in tight quantities at this point. Usually at target or tru, I just ask for the item and if its not on the floor its in the store room and they help me get it. I have a guy in my area who is a doctor who simply collects 2 of each hotwheels, nicest guy in the world and helped me and many other action figure collectors out just simply cause he's a nice guy who understands the disease of collecting. I've seen him verbally abused by my local wally's on more then one occasion for simply taking buggy with him to search the hotwheels bin. Sorry I would honestly like to see other retail chains put walmart out of commision. There may be customer service rules on paper but there not practiced. If you don't believe me and you are in the western PA area, PM me and I will tell you exactly what store to go to. See if anyone besides the greeter and the cashier acknowledges your existance. Sorry dude but you may work in a model walmart, but overall the company you work for sucks

Very insightful reading, from an ostensibly true insider. We don't get enough of your ilk around these parts, so welcome!

I've started a new thread in non Joe posts regarding Wally World and their various policies that apply to what we are trying to cover here. I hope this helps some of you who are not getting the help you need.

Welcome to the boards. Which part of MN do you live in? Sounds like a pretty rural place like Hutchinson or Pine City.
As for the availability of Joes, I liken it to the Wii. Not enough supply, super high demand. It has taken Nintendo a while to catch up and I do see Wiis in stores now from time to time. It's been what, almost two years since it was released? It shows that it can take a while for a company to figure out how to get enough of a hot item out to the public. I am guessing there are many reasons why. |
