Simple question. What do you do with your opened cardbacks? Do you keep the cardbacks? Do you cut out the FC? Do you just throw them away?
Here's my deal, I'm an opener except for my Doc and Yellow Stalker. I have just too many cardbacks and boxes. I already have many loose FC's from vehicles, 5 packs, exclusives etc. I'm thinking of cutting into all my cardbacks and boxes to just only save the FC's. then put them into a box or whatever. I'm afraid that I'm going to regret cutting into the card art because it's so awesome. However I'm weird and like everything to be the same and even. So for example it really bothers me that I have random FC's bagged up at the moment. I would like to hear what some of the Tankers do. Thanks for your time. |

I guess I'm strange as I never considered the card art. I just open my packages, cut the file cards out and store them in a file card holder alphabetically.

^ same here. I wish they'd start packing loose filecards inside the blister like in Comic Packs, so we wouldn't have to cut them out, and they'd all match in my neat little file card holder...

Since the 25th figures I've been keeping the cardback uncut. But all the Spytroops and VvV etc... I was cutting the filecard out and trashing the rest, unless I really liked the art, then I'd keep it and use it in projects. I have small boxes for the filecards that I've taped some of said artwork on to the top of it to sort out what's in which box (IE: I Have a box with CC on it and another with Vipers, then there's one with Snake-Eyes and Stalker from the Nam 3 pack on it)

I only need one each. The rest goes to the recycle bin.

As far as storing them goes I went from using a shoe box, then onto a plastic storage case, and now I'm actually putting them in Ultra Pro pages inside of a looseleaf book. I really liked the fact that Hasbro released this 25th Anniversary line with card backs that closely resembled their original counterparts. I just wish that those Joe and Cobra 5-parks never came out in the first place. I bought those first and then when Wave 4 came out I didn't want to purchase them again just to get the card art. Maybe I can make a trade for the full Wave 4 card backs with another member on here. |

I take pictures of my joe's before opening them up. That way I can still look at the artwork and still have space. Plus it is cheaper than getting 2 or 3 of each character. I just get 1 of everybody except the ones I choose to army build. I also cut my filecards out and put then in a 4x6 photo album for easy reading.
