I have a quick question for those of you who display your figures. Which figure gives you the most problems? I have 2 at the moment. Wave 4 Roadblock and the Vipers. Both figures will just not stay on there stands. They often fall off there stands backwards. I'm interested in knowing who has similar problems.

Gung-ho and Black CC both have weak knees for me- BH, too, but it's from too much posing
For figs that want to fall backwards, it helps to spin their stand around.

Gung Ho, and barbeque. The vipers too. With the vipers it's a matter of being top heavy. With loose joints you can put some clear fingernail polish on them to stiffen them up, and none will be the wiser.

every single pegged stand ends up being an issue. quite frankly im kinda surprised ive achieved as many differing poses as i have with my cobras. most pose variation ends up being in the upper torso. so if i have a real issue with a figure, i end up swapping stands so the troublesome figure ends up with a double...and i just turn the base so the name is in the back. some figures of note i had trouble with until i swapped for double pegs... roadblock, gung ho, storm shadow, scarlett. hasbro needs to stop "looking into" a double peg on cobra stands and just ruttin do it. how much R&D does it take to understand double pegs are better? |

My Vipers, Cobra Air Troopers, and Gung-Ho are the ones who mainly give me the problem. I think Gung-Ho's loose leg is the cause of him falling though, the Vipers are just lazy.
I taped the Air Troopers and Gung-Ho's feet to the stands, which seemed to help, and I have Gung-Ho leaned up against my 2005 release Mobat. I'm still thinking of whether I should try the same with my Vipers.

All right, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these?! Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down! |

I have a lot of problem with Roadblock, too. I finally just turned his stand around so the peg went into the other foot. This seems to work better. I also have some problems with Beachhead...I have to lean him forward a little.

My Gung-Ho from the boxed set seems to have weak knees so he's my worst for displaying. The Twins just like to fall over.

Gung-Ho and Roadlock always caused problems for me. I ended up having to get Protech stands because the original stands would not fit in my display case. The protech stands are a big help. They are a full circle so they don't fall over as easy. The pegs also seem to fit much tighter. If not having the name printed on the stand is not a problem then I would suggest this. You can get like 50 for around $15. They are clear so it makes the figures look more realistic in a diorama type display as well.
