Joe related items to be shipping from Diamond Comic Distributors for release next Wednesday, July 16th. Out in comic book stores that day will be:
GI JOE 25TH ANNIVERSARY AF ASST 200806 79.92
GI JOE AMERICAS ELITE TP VOL 05 WWIII OMNIBUS 34.99
GI JOE VEHICLE ASST 200801 (C: 1-1-3) 79.96
So what figure and vehicle assortments are these? |

Posts: 1,751 | If it's what I saw in "Previews" (the comic store digest of things Diamond has on offer to shops and customers) a while back, it's the same items as we've seen before but with a much higher mark up. I don't have the issue anymore but I remember seeing vehicle wave 1 in there for that price for a case of 1 each. The same issue had transformers toys for $5 more than retail. Ouch. Too bad for comic stores that want to carry popular items. |

I was only willing to spend that much cuz this is one killer wave to spend that on and with the amound of gas i waste looking for joes i'll prob be saving money. haha. |

Everyone on this site has been going nuts about Target raising to $7.99 so the $9.99 at comic stores is just nutso to pay at retail (and sadly it's solely the fault of Diamond marking them up and passing that along to comic stores, and in doing so making THEM look like they are the ones doing the price fixing). KB toys is still "only" $8.99~! ;)
