So i get a call from a friend who lives out in the bay and tells me that when he went into the Target in Daly City and tried to buy muiltiples of The Dark Knight 3 and 3.4th inch packs they stopped him and only allowed him to buy ONE. So it seems targets are now starting to enforce their no army building, buying multiples of toys for now. I remember they have done this periodically through the years since i have come back to cali but still with the way everything is going this is just another reason not to shop at Target. Figured i'd give everyone a heads up.

I'm telling you, 5 years tops before Wallyworld buys these losers out...So what if a parent comes if shopping for christmas, has two or three kids and they all want the same thing? The parent comes in and lo! and behold! there it is, and several to boot!
Then, at the register, the manager comes over, explains, one per customer, the parent explains their position and then the manager, who couldn't care less about customers or customer service, tells them one figure..So basically, only one of your kids gets the figures, the others, will go back to the shelf... Isn't being in a business about making a profit? Saboteur |

Hate to rain on your parade, but I think Target's gonna be around for a while. No other company is putting as much emphasis on design as they are. Toys are a small part of their overall income; and they'll probably let a 35 year old woman buy 20 of something - they probably only enforce the collectables rule on males 18-45.

Yeah, some stores enforce it some dont. When wave 5 first came out, I got a comlpete set and then had extra's of IG Destro and 5 CG's-11 fig's total. The cashier was waitng on a price check(this was when the fig's weren't yet in Target's system) then the cahsier tells me, I have too many as Target has a limit on the number of "collectibles" a person can buy, that 10 is the most you can get at one time, so I put a CG back. But of course, you hear how people buy 2 or 3 cases worth of figures at other Target stores and the store doesn't care. Part of Target's inconsistant policies.

i think target needs to stop worrying about people buying multiples and just stock there freaking shelves more than once a month.
