target might have crap rules and re stock like slugs, but if you are quick enough are just plain lucky, you will find NEW figures,as in the latest wave, unlike dope mart,i went to 3 of them today, all were stocked out the ass with wave 7,come on,its flippin july, that originally hit in may for gods sake!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On a side note distribution of figures seems to be Hasbro's fault not WM, Target, K-mart or TRU as all these stores never have shit. Last edited by SNAKE EYES; 07-07-2008 at 05:09 PM.. |

For some reason 1 wave 9 case ships with 3 cases of wave 7 (revision) at Wal-Mart at least. I have seen this in 2 different Wal-Marts and have read others post the same. Weird but true. So if you see wave 7 at WM you just missed wave 9
On a side note distribution of figures seems to be Hasbro's fault not WM, Target, K-mart or TRU as all these stores never have shit. |

I doubt that........besides Target here does keep stock except all the Army Builders, Scalpers, Moc Collectors, Hoarders...... take everything........so about damn time Im able to buy what i want when i want......and besides the whole $7.99 thing Ive had to buy most of my Joes online....sometimes those Figs are $10-$12 plus shipping....so at $7.99 thats a deal for me......
You all are haters dogging Target...because you dont get your way. Maybe Target does care.....because they are having these rules. Maybe they want everyone to have a fair shot at buying them....instead of people buying sealed cases to have sealed cases or to sale sealed cases on Ebay....for dumb prices. Why the hell do people want a sealed case anyway? Most of you are mad because Target is beating you at your own games......so stop bitching and go shop somewhere else then......... Target isn't beating me at my own game..I only buy 1-2 figures of each wave anyway..it's not fair to the collectors who like to buy one to open and one to keep MOC that's why it isn't fair..I'm not bitching, I'm stating the facts friend and I do shop somewhere else.. I'm happy for you that your Target is a good stop..I hope they do have what your looking for and your shopping experiences there continue..Don't get mad at the rest of us who have had bad experiences there.. I'm pretty sure that Target only cares about toys in 4th quarter
( X-Mas) and no other time. I was the Dept.Manager of toys and sporting goods and they could care less about toys when they make a 5000% mark up on a coffee mug or toothbrush holder shaped like a monkeys head. They worry about high profit items and thats about it. Toys are maybe a 20-30% mark-up so it's all about the big profits. |

Target is not going to go anywhere they are going to double in size within the next 5 to 10 years they already own the land. 10years ago there was only 10 DCs now we are up to 30 and opening more this year and now open food DCs also. They don't try to be like Walmart two different class of people. Why aren't people mad at the reason the prices are so high the oil guys. Target has to starting inforcing the rules because people complain if they don't have anything now people complain cause they are trying to make sure that there is some for everyone it is damn if you do damn if you don't.
