I've got an excellent '86 Zarana with amazing paint and earings...but a broken o-ring. Is her torso glued or can you repair her like any other joe? If glued, is there any possible way to separate the parts with out damaging the torso or am I screwed?
Could use a little help on this one... |

I think the torso on her was glued as well as screwed on or there was something about the color change paint that caused it to stick together. After unscrewing, it might not come apart, you might have to run an exacto knife along the seam to loosen it a bit. Just unscrew it first and see if it comes apart.

Thanks for the responses...I unscrewed but did not come apart on its own...I didn't want to stress it by trying to force it open but I'll try the exacto later on tonight...

Took the exacto to it...still wouldn't open all the way...finally popped it open with a small flathead screwdriver (causing some damage) and it turns out there was glue all over the inside. Suck...what I had feared. Did manage to save everything but the chest/back. Thanks for the help, gang...

got here a bit late but there is a different way to repair the figs you basically get a longer thinner o-ring and hook one end to the leg hook coax the o-ring above where the old one went and hook the other end to the leg hook. i've never tried it but it seems like it would work
