I don't know if this is the right section, but after wasting a gallon of gas today and finding nothing new I needed to vent.
Seriously! I live in between a K-Mart, a Walmart, a Kay-Bee, a Toys R Us, AND a Target, and all I see are comic-pack peg warmers! My Toy's R Us is the only one that even HAS single figure cards (and big surprise, they're all Buzzers). Nothing but wave after wave of garishly colored Duke vs CC and Scarlet w Hawk packs staring at me wherever I go, with maybe a Scarface/Fred pack here and there for some variety. Hell! I'll even give figures in bent cards a home, but nope! Not even them to be found. My Toys R Us is pretty good about keeping their exclusives in stock (knocks on wood), so at least it supplies me with decent trading-fodder, but damn! You'd think in a cluster like that I'd be able to find more than one new figure a week. Oh yeah, big surprise, they all have absolutely NO trouble keeping Batman/Indy/Narnia/Hulk in stock, and while I'm a huge Dr Who fan, do we really need a huge stack of Cybermen voice changer helmets (seriously, like 7 of those big suckers at TRU) when you have no Joes in stock? *sigh* |

I have the same problem man. My run goes as follows: KB's, Target, walmart, Target, TRU, KB's, Target, Target. And 9 times out of ten i come out empty handed.
Like you said, everything is in stock except for anything i want haha. Pre-order has been my best friend latley. |

You know we east coasters should be looking 2 weeks after the waves appear. I stoped by a few stores cuz they are on the way to work but all of them are empty and no W4 comic packs still!

I can't complain too much because i find everything i need and a little more. since im less than a mile away from target and walmart. but my aisles have been empty of figures accept for buzzers and a serpentor.
but th comic packs are starting to disappear, which his good to see but i get about 2 cases of each ave in my stores at separate points, and they are gone within 2 days ussualy. SO you have to get them fast or you might never see them again |

one of the major reasons these singles go so carkin fast is most every store i have been to has no more than 2-4 pegs for em. I mean seriously what the hell? its no wonder we cant find these goram things, the frellin stores wont make an frackin room for em. I swear im to the point were i just wanna grab a 20 gallon tote or two, put all the craptastic toys in the aisle in them (which counts for about 95% of whats in the toy aisle lately) and hide them, which never in that scope but i have on occasion done so more stuff like new star wars and joes could be put out.

i have nearly idential mix of retails stores and the exact same problems. it's extremly frustrating in that i have money to spend. i just don't have anything to spend it on.
example: went to walmart last night, 8+ cases of batman junk alone, piles and piles of it on the pallet. not a single case of anything joe related

yall need to stop wasting gas and buy on the internet..
heres a good idea.. how about for every gallon of gas you waste you factor in the cost.. of gas if you waste even 2 gallons looking for a wave... thats about 8$ so you are going to be paying 7.99 a figure... and if you waste 4 gallons.... your now paying 8.99 to 9.99 a figure.... and so on and so forth..... your only doing it to your selves |
