yeah people that work at target alweys have some dumb ass excuse to not go in the back and look, one because they dont get paid shit to give a crap and second because they are lazy.
i dont understand why hasbro chose target for the exclusives. they never stock anything and on top of that they have horrible service. walmart would of been a much better choice. not that they are much better but atleast walmart actually restocks there shelves a little more often then once every 3 monthes. |

And there's more Target Exclusives coming too. The Rattler will be a Target Exclusive. I guess I may see one or two and then they might go on clearance....

My store had a bunch of the Transformers All-spark movie deluxes on clearance the last time I was there (about 30) and I had only seen 3-4 in the store prior to that. Makes sense that they keep everything in the back.

Went to a Target today and got into a heated argument with one of the employees.
I had just stopped in two other Target stores prior to this one and they still had the scanners that showed DCPI numbers and such.. had a guy pull out a wave 4 CP case out. Well I then decided to run over to the Target off Bryant Irvin in Fort Worth to see what they had. there were about 4 wave 1 CP's, and 6 single carded figures.. So picked up and extra Major Bludd and artic SE. Went to find someone with a scanner to see if they had any cases in the back.. It took me awhile to find anyone who had a scanner, but finally did. she was very friendly and was willing to help me. The scanner wouldn't cooperate with her so she walked to the electronics dept. I followed in suit. She asked the guy at the counter why she couldn't get something brought up on it so she could check for me. When he saw that I had G.I.Joes in my hand he said that they could only sell what was on the pegs and couldn't pull anything from the back. I argued the point that this was the only target that I have ever run across this policy with. He got cocky and said that he has worked for the company for 5 years and every Target is like that. I then proceeded to inform him that I had just been to 2 other Target stores and they pulled cases from the back without any problems. He then told me that Target had sent out and Email shortly after the Exclusive vehicles were released that they were no longer going to cater to collectors and that they were to only sell what was on the pegs. thus why several Target stores now only have a normal price checking scanner. So basically, it helps to get in good with either the Toy dept employee or if the store is set up with an electronics dept across from it ..one of the employees there. Guess that helps put a stop to scalpers there, but now that means they are just going to Raid Wal Mart stores in mass force. I have been to a few stores like that. I have even seen signs posted up in the toy department. I dont like scalpers, and sure this helps against them but why should anyone be limited to what they can and cant buy? I meen if i owned a store and someone asked if i had an item in the back i would gladly grab it because now my store is making a profit. I dunno, i agree and disagree with this. It just sucks that i have to turn to ebay a lot of times. Thank god for EE and BBTS lately though. They have really came through for me |

I gave up on Target yesterday. I have been tracking GI Joe at two Target stores for the past four months, and they have had exactly the same thing on the shelves with no change! One store has two hooded Cobra Commanders that have been hanging here the entire four months. The other store is completely empty.
The stupid thing on Target's part is that GI Joe brings me into their store. Now, I have no reason to go there. All of the other things that I buy (soap, snacks, housewares, etc.) will now be bought elsewhere. It's not that hard to get these figures in stock, because every other store has scored some. If Target can't get on the ball, then who needs Target?

Just go right to the top...ask for a manager. The pissants are lazy, if they don't have to do something they won't. But managers are concerned with the bottom line, if it means a sale, they'll do it.
And to you pissants out there, no offense, I was a Wal-Mart pissant for a long time. I know the job sucks, and I know ya'll are lazy. Ain't no biggie. |

I went into target the day before yesterday and they have completly removed the single carded pegs, and had like 3 comic packs wave 1. If this is because of them thinking they dont sell they are wrong, they dont stock. There was 1 cc on the pegs for 2 or 3 weeks and that is it. Hasbro should pull there customs and give them to wally, they have those exclusive build a droids every where. I can only imagine them with a whole endcap of rattlers.
