Tankers,
As I was just sounding off in the Captain America toys thread... why isn't Hasbro, or ANY company for that matter, taking advantage of some toy collectors OCD Army Building? GI Joe: Greenshirts/Cobra Troopers Captain America: WWI US Soldiers (Dum Dum) Iron Man: black suited SHIELD Agents Who among us wouldn't snag & headswap a few black suited figures for random gov't agents, businessmen, etc? Same with WWII Soldiers... I mean, they were onto the right idea with the Indiana Jones line, releasing 2 styles of german soldiers (that I army built the hell out of when they went on clearance). Why didn't they continue with this idea?!

IT depends. I would have said yes. I mean I like the majority of what GI Joe has from Hasbro. Captain America however has really bad legs so that has me backing away not sure if I want to take that chance. Iron Man well I probably would the only none Iron Man Toy was Nick Fury and he was a GI Joe.

I voted massive but for me thats only with a select group, ie. Vipers, Bats, Cobra Trooper and Steel Brigade (wish the turquioise/baby blue was another color though, at least olive drab). I view Iron Grenadiers as more of a select security team for M.a.r.s. than an actual army builder. The same can be said for the Alley Vipers and other branches of Vipers (Rock & others) or even the shock troopers. If they made them in fire team size packaging, that would be the shit!

Maybe because they didn't sell that well and everyone waited until "...they went on clearance" like you did and stores said no more army builders please.

Iron Man 2. They used GI Joe Parts to make him. Where as the marvel Universe/Captain America uses parts which are different he was made of GI Joe parts. If there going to be made to the standard of GI Joe than I'm in. If they are going to be using Marvel Universe or more recently the very cheap leg plastic of the Captain America line it requires me to wait and see.

I don't understand why you say Hasbro hasn't taken advantage of the army builders. In the last two waves five out of the twelve figures were army builders. Marvel Universe has had the Hand Ninja, AIM soldier, Hydra Soldier, and SHIELD trooper. In fact, everything you mention but Dum Dum Dugan has been made by Hasbro.
