It was pretty big down under, for a few years at least. I think we missed some of the early stuff.

The first Joe I remember buying off the pegs with my own pocket money was Chuckles. Before then it was just whoever was given to me for birthdays and xmas.

Has anyone been buying other lines to 'scratch the itch'?
Corps has been really good. Amazing vehicles, nice figures, fantastic price. The current animal wave is great too. Very much toys, but I think that's a good thing. The Fortnite figures are nice figures. Well made, bright colours, but they don't feel right. Something is really off. They don't 'click'. I did open my 50th, finally. Quite a few figures I liked, they got a ton of mileage out of Dwayne Johnson's body, but the materials on some figures, like Destro, were terrible. Leatherneck was easily my favorite 50th figure. Invokes the original, looks and feels good. |

I like the more realistic military toy lines, so I collect anything PTE (World Peacekeepers from M&C) and have lots of Elite Forces and other toy lines that have a more realistic approach. I have most of the modern era Joes and vehicles, but many of them have never been opened, as they don't fit the aesthetic I'm going for. I have lots of Corps stuff and some Star Wars vehicles, and just about everything from Acid Rain, because they're all kinds of fun. And I basically live for Marauder Task Force. There is plenty of stuff out there, and most of it is better than GI Joe ever was, but I have to admit, I'm pretty sad there hasn't been anything new from them in so long. |

Going to necromancy this thread.
Does anyone know where to get archival resealable bags? I've been using sandwich bags, but I want to switch to archival bags if I can. I figure it'd be cheaper and easier to store than little boxes. I was thinking of comic bags too, but they're too big. |

These are acid free bags. I believe just the Ultra Clear are acid free. They come in many sizes. I don't know if they ship to Australia, but you can always call them and ask, or maybe chat w/ them.

^ I got Ultimate Guard Resealable Manga Bags. They're the right size and shape, archival quality.
--- Does anyone else get the same page from Amazon on the Arctic Storm Shadow I get this. It won't let me preorder, keeps saying unavailable. He doesn't turn up on Amazon Australia, nor does he turn up in searches on Amazon US, only via the link here. |
