just curious to what anyone use's to take off sticker residue on there vehicles?

cooking oil (very light on a paper towel just a dot, it goes a long way) then use rubbing alcohol to remove the oil. Id stay away from acetone, it will eat the plactics

i use "bestine". it is a rubber cement solvent and isn't dangerous AT ALL to plastics

Zippo lighter fluid. Works great, is non abrasive and evaporates quickly.

3m also uses makes a glue residue remover that is citrus based that doesn't tear up the plastic and the fumes wont make you think you Joes are talking to you. I use it to remove stickers from an acrylic display and it worked great.

Muriatic acid is a good way to get toys off your stickers.

I tried the WD-40 on my vintage Conquest X-30 decals. Over time, the glue seeped out of the edges and is covered with dust. It took off the glue, but it also took off all the printing on the decal too. So I am left with a very clean but blank decal, use WD-40 with caution.
