I had been away from home all week, so yesterday when I finally
got home, I just had this insatiable urge to play with my G.I. Joes... And boy did I, what was planned to be a maybe two hour battle turned out to be an all day affair. Cobra came so close to destroying Mt. Rushmore and replacing it with their own faces... But in the end G.I Joe barely stopped them... I just sat back on the stairs and was like man...I LOVE G.I.JOES I just thought I'd share this after a recent thread over on yojoe about playing with your G.I.Joes...most people say they don't but I sure as heck do... |

Sounds wicked! lol I did the same thing myself a couple of weeks ago,my Mrs was hogging the pc so thought "ah f*ck it!" and I got all my vintage stuff out, snake eyes and scarlett had been attacked and captured-overwhelmed by an unknown organization of Ninjas and assassins working with Cobra...and there was no way a full assault would work-so there was only one man for the Job STORM SHADOW!
He started by silently picking off the grounds gaurds using his bow and arrow then sneaking in and taking everyone out one by one stealth style, then he got to the main temple and had to confront a series of different and unusual martial arts masters and finally the old clan master himself who had never been defeated. It seemed SS would be defeated, until he used his last shuriken to disable the holding cell freeing Snake eyes and Scarlett who overwhelmed the old master finally defeating him... ...sure i got a few funny glances off of my lady but i had a damn good game!!!

man do you know how fast that flagg would sink? Plus break apart upon impact.... it would look cool as all get out but man it would be a hard task.

I saw pics of a guy that made a Flagg float once. The deck parts were screwed together & the underside of the Flagg was filled with those floaty pool noodles.

I done that the other week with my son.We took the BBI(i think) Abrams out to a dirtpile with some 25ths.That was fun.For anyone wondering,Snowjobs white holds up really good playing in the dirt.
Sometime this summer, when i get the chance,i'm going to fill my backpack up with all my 25ths and head out to the state park.I should get some nice pics to show from it. |

I'm 37 and play with my Joes all the time. I mean really play, with "pweeoo pweeoo" gun sounds, talking characters and everything. If it was good enough for Einstein then it's good enough for me.
As they say: "The more sophisticated the mind, the greater the need for play". I'll never have a Flagg to sink though...

"sink the Flagg" with Keel Haul turning to cobra so they don't retire his ship, only to have it destroyed in the end, but to be brought back from the big blue 18 ft ocean to thrive again!!
