I am a MOC collector and I just acquired 2 figures, MOC with K-mart price tags still on them. When I removed the price stickers, a little glue/residue remained on the card. How do I remove this without harming the card?
Your help is appreciated. |

I've been told a product called "Goo-Gone" works perfectly. I've never tried it myself, but it supposed to do exactly what you want.

The goo gone works. Used it on a vintage potf luke in stormtrooper guise back in the day. The sticker came off perfectly.

I use the price sticker to pick up the left over adhesive. Quick and light sticks and up it comes. Works well with walmart and target...not so much with meijer. Just don't press too hard.

Thanks for the help. K-mart still tags their goods.
So this Goo-gone is good stuff? Vaderquest - have you used this on the card or the figure? I just visualize stripping all of the color off the cardboard! At that point, I'll be sending it to Agent-GHQ. |

DON'T use goo-gone on paper-like surfaces unless you're very careful. If you leave it on too long or use too much, the paper will absorb the liquid and it will discolor the material and leave a citrus smell that won't fully go away. Goo-gone is the best for removing adhesives and gunk from non-porous sufaces like plastic, metal, and painted surfaces. If you use it, just be careful and keep this in mind.

I used it on cards. My friend used it in a star wars 12bk vader back in the day. Put just enough on the residue and slowly start to wipe it away. Give it a moment and vala, messy residue gone. I never have had a problem with goo gone. There is an orange smell BUT it does go away, it has on mine.
