My friends have been telling me about this movie where the main character is GI.Joe obsessed, and a life sized Joe is following him arround (in his mind) the whole movie.
Any body heard of this? |

I don't know - I recall the movie 'Cloak & Dagger' from the mid-80's, where a kid had a Joe-ish toy that appeared to him in real life (played by Dabney Coleman), but I don't think it was actually a G.I. Joe figure. I'll have to check imdb.com.

Sounds right.
looked it up. Not as cool sounding as I made it up to be. Thought it was an independant for some reason. |

Have you seen 'XTRO', a craptacular Brit sci-fi horror from the1980's? The film has a strange alluring tackiness, and one bizarre scene has a possessed child's 12" GI Joe ('Action Man' to be accurate as it's a Brit flick) growing to full adult size, coming to life and bayoneting a neighbour to death... Weird!

Doesn't ring a bell. I used to watch "The Boy Who Could Fly" a lot when I was a kid because Fred Savage's character had a ton of Joes.

Yeah - I remember 'The Boy Who Could Fly'. I liked the funeral for Duke.

Yeah - another obscure '80's film. There were a lot of G.I. Joe figures featured in it.
