I had gotten a bunch of guys from a friend who was into Star Wars so I traded some of my seldom used figures for some of his Joes. I got Grand-Slam, Torpedo, and a few others. For my birthday in 1985 my grandparents got me a big TRU bag with every carded figure from 82-84. That jump started my collection. My first vehicles were the Sky Hawk & CLAW

My cousin gave me The Slugger vehicle for my 2nd B-Day. Thats what my folks say at least. I've always had Joes since I can remember.

My first Joe toys were the Skyhawk and the Asp. I got them at the same time. My first figures were Duke, Destro, and a Cobra trooper. I don't remember what order I got them in, I just remember those being my earliest ones. I never had a straight arm figure. I know it was sure nice to finally have some people to operate that Skyhawk and Asp, though.

My first was a Hawk MMS given to me by my godfather or godmother when I was 5 or 6 yrs. old. The first figure I purchased was a Takara Cobra Officer when I was 10 yrs. old.

Hydro-Viper in 88 at a Kaybees. I was almost 9. I didn't like Joes before but I saw him and thought he was cool. Then I got Big Boa. After years of going to flea markets to catch up on missing joes I cleaned out my garage and found a barely touched straight arm Snake Eyes with his uzi and bag in his hand and straight arm Breaker with his helmet. Happiest moment I ever had. Haven't stopped buying them since that Hydro-Viper.
