That's exactly the reason why I sold all of my original Crimson Guards, Officers/ Troopers and Vipers. They just look so sub-par to the new stuff. I kept one of each of the originals, just for nestalgic reasons.

i would love to display the line in conjunction with the vintage stuff if i have the display space if to do nothing else but showcase the improvements made.
in prop displays, the vintage just odn't mix well. the size and detail differences make it akward looking.

I've no problem mixing them. A lot of my collection is in displays of scenes from the comic books so in order to have all the characters I don't have much choice. They look OK to me.

I don't have a problem with mixing. The 25th definitely rock the old school but to me they're all still Joe so I keep em together.
What about those who make dio stories? Would you mix your 25th with ARAH? Would mix styles if you were doing stop motion?

I tried to display some of the classic figures with the new ones, and it looked sorta lame. The BATs are the only thing I would think to display since they're not human and not required to be proportional.
Like Gdztoyz, I've also got a couple placeholder figures from the "new sculpt" lines in my displays.

Old school look much cooler in my opinion, but 25th stuff is alright. I don't mix the two though. I like the idea of figures in a side-by-side comparision display though, that looks good.
