This is just a piece of my first Joe story. In my Joeverse, Hawk has been promoted to commander of SOCOM and Courage has taken over as CO of the Joes. He's massively reorganized them along the lines of SF ODA, with a full support staff. MAJ Storm is his S-3, Operations Officer. Tourniquet is the Assistant Medical NCO on Grid Iron's team, replaced on this mission by Airtight, the Joes NBC NCO.

Standing in the center of The USS Sullivans Operations center, Major Storm weighted his options. The ODA-G1 was on an island in contested territory, technically under the jurisdiction of the UN, but in reality they'd just thrown up a paperwork quarantine and forgotten about it. But they'd remember too quickly if this mission was discovered. But a Night Creeper had shown up among the ruins and critically engineered the detachment's Operations Sergeant. Grid Iron was charlie miking, but Double Blast needed evac'd immediately.S
Put the SEAL-G on alert, and start preflight checks on the Seahawks. he ordered. And get Sergeant Tourniquet out of his rack. I'm sure he'd like to return to his unit.
