Great stuff, DH. Loved the references to Dr. Venom and his Brainwave Scanner. Kinda feel bad for Mutt, not so much Maj. Bludd, though. The atlas was helpful, too.

[QUOTE=darth_henning;1311681]nevermind? er...nevermind what?
and thank you. I thought you were still talking about Scarface when you were actually talking about how you named Mutt's brother. I said I had caught the naming thing, but realized what you were talking about, so Iedited my comment and wrote "Nevermind" so..........I mean the other part though. I really am enjoying your fiction.

Mutt had a rather horrible experience. One which will be useful for character portrayal later. The atlas probably won't get much attention until later when the full out war begins, but thanks. Quote:

Cool Story, behind Mutt. I'm glad to see Scarface get some love. I can't wait to see who you move up in the Cobra Hierachy. Many of those characters are wide-open to much needed attention. I liked Blackout alot and much of the Plague as well. The Interrogator in particular. I like to think he was CC's personal tele-viper from the beginning and moved up, but extremely loyal.
Who is Ghost? (Can't wait to find out.) |

Thank you.
I'm hoping to have some more up this week, but I'm a bit overwhelmed with real-life work currently, so it may be a few days. |

The atlas is a neat idea. Did the Marvel/Devil's Due comics ever come up with anything like that? Would have loved to have seen a "joe-verse" map with all the made up countries: Sierra Gordo, Borovia, The Emirate of Benzheen, Trucial Abysmia, Kalingaland, etc.

I believe that Devils Due had something showing the location of Cobra Cells in the battlelines sourcebook (or was it battlefront?) but that's about it.
As for Marvel, I have no idea. The first I've ever seen of them is the collections put out by Marvel (1-5) and the ones that are being put out now. BTW, Zulu, I may be picking your brain in the near future about some of the very obscure characters you've updated recently to add to my ongoing roster list. |
