Doing away with Action Force and the Oktober Guard or will they be non-affliated units?

I'll still be working on them, but given the amount of effort going into the documentation for GI Joe and Cobra, I've pushed back to date for my working on Action Force and the Guard to the vague "sometime in the future"

Got ya. As long as you use Big Ben I'll be happy.

Right now, I'm in the midst of making sure that my take on the GI Joe team truly represents the idea of them being "Real American" heroes in terms of demographics.
I've already ensured that every state is represented on the roster (originally, Delaware didn't have any contributions to the GI Joe team, but I fixed that by making Col. Sharpe a Delaware native). I've also made sure that United States territories like Puerto Rico, the Northern Marianas Islands, Guam, American Samoa, and the US Virgin Islands get represented on the roster. Contrary to popular perception, people born in those territories are constitutionally considered US nationals, and they are assured many of the same rights and protections as US citizens, they just don't get to vote in congressional or presidential elections (unless they've lived in a US state for more than 5 years and have successfully applied for full US citizenship). I'm also making sure that the top 10 immigrant populations in the US are represented (Mexican, Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Vietnamese, Cuban, Salvadoran, Dominican, Canadian, Korean). I'm not messing with existing Joes' birthplaces, though. Any concessions to demographics will be applied to the Joes I've "acquired" from non-ARAH toyline sources. |

With the Aviation guys done, I'm now shifting my attention to the Plans and Programs Directorate of the GI Joe team (basically the unit's overall HQ that oversees everything, from the military element headed by Hawk, the special activities element headed by Cullen Esterhazy, and the domestic anti-terrorism element headed by Cutter).
Here are the three guys making up the Plans Council (I'd already posted my take on Admiral Dyson from the comics, whom I've code-named Freeboard, so I won't be reposting the image here) along with a member of the Support Section: Eagle-Eye, Ironside, Corvus, Brainstorm
Thanks for looking! Last edited by zuludelta; 01-18-2010 at 03:24 AM.. Reason: Updated Aaron B. Austin's codename as per Tyroc's suggestion |

I love the updates. Not sure about Iron Butt as a code name though. I know that was his nickname in the Marvel series...I call him 'Iron Hide' with 'Iron Butt' remaining what he's called behind his back

Yeah, I'm sort of torn on the "Iron-Butt" codename as well. I'm thinking of maybe changing it to "Ironside" (old term for the fanatical cavalry troops fighting alongside Cromwell during the English Civil War).

Looking good z. Eagle Eye looks fantastic overall, but you might want to do some color correction on the skin tone. He looks like he's going down to the Jersey Shore he and Hulk Hogan leave the tanning salon. I like the name change to Ironside as well.Is that the Round Mound of Rebound? God, I hate the new Army uniform, but it is what it is. Corvus is like a raven, is it not? Raven as a name has more punch, plus with Eagle(Eye), Hawk, Falcon, Condor and Kestrel running around it just fits IMO.

Love em all. Austin and Hollingsworth are sorely needed figures. Way overdue. But yeah Iron-Hide or Iron-Side might be better, with the clear understanding everyone would call him Iron-Butt.
Love Eagle-Eye. Love Iron-Butt. Love the name Corvus. |
