Thanks!

Zandar...
... I'd really hoped you would have updated him more, or at the very least thrown a shirt on a guy who is going to be crawling around doing recon work (and he still would have been recognizable due to the facepaint, headband, neckerchief and sleeve, IMO)... ... I can see Zandar will be your COBRA version of Ace in that you will probably keep revisiting him. Quote:

Unfortunately for Dynamite, he looks too much like Solid Snake for my tastes. I don't know if it's just me, but the green in his jumpsuit looks more blue than green. Perhaps removing the chinstrap part of the beard and a slight color correction on the jumpsuit would go a long way in negating that association?
Thanks for the comments, guys. Last edited by zuludelta; 09-19-2009 at 02:33 PM.. |

Rounding out the Screaming Eagles characters of the expanded Joe universe:
Grill, Tank & Mouse Like Headbanger, they never made it into toy form (unlike Sgt. Savage, D-Day, and Dynamite) Just for shits & giggles, here's how they looked like in the Old Heroes Never Die Sgt. Savage & The Screaming Eagles toy pack-in animated feature: Design notes:

I also updated images and filecards for Footloose and Hit & Run:
I'm going ahead and replacing some of the generic "riflemen" positions in my GI Joe organization with named Joes, so I decided to reshuffle these two into positions and looks more readily associated with their original incarnations. I'll post the revised organizational groupings when I finsh them (it's a bit of a chore... tabulating 200-odd entries is not my idea of fun). |

Looking great with all five redesigns. As for the No-Prize:
BANGBANGBANG Does Mouse hate liver, too? That Sixers team was something else wasn't it? "Okay, you guys score, defend, rebound and block shots. AI, you score." That's why Iverson never had the same level of success again. He was never on another team built exclusively around his deficiencies. So, about those vacancies... BF2000?! Lol. I was thinking more along the lines of GI Joe Sigma Six (Sgt. Boulder, Desert Wolf) and GI Joe Extreme's Ballistic/Eagle-Eye, but I just might throw in some BF2000 guys to round the roster out. |

You had to know if I saw this one I was gonna get it. Bas is my favorite legacy MMA fighter by far.
Nice! Don't forget you also have Mariner floating around out there if you need him. |

Nice Zulu,
I'm liking the rest of the Screaming Eagles Crew. They fit in nicely. Did you change Footloose's face as well? I may have missed it but this one looks great. As far as BFFs2000 I think that Dodger is the one that stands out for me, but once you start you can't stop and you'll probably do them all. They make great HQ supply guys for sure. Have you revised your GIJoe outline recently? I was trying to look it over but I have an old copy. |

I've revised it, but it's all in handwritten notes. I'm currently in the process of tabulating everything in an easy-to-read format, I should be done by Wednesday at the latest... if I wasn't so invested in the GI Joe universe, this would probably qualify as "work" . I've definitely put more sincere effort into this project than anything I've been paid to do

Nice way to work eliminate the extra Cliff Mewitt and the extra Airborne in one fell swoop.
