Yeah, that's why I was thinking of the wheelchair.
It can create the coiled snake effect if you do the blanket the right way. Two legs just will look odd.

I gravitated towards the wheelchair idea initially, but the more I thought about it, the less appealing it became. The thing about the wheelchair is that it's compact, boxy, and industrial, which is perhaps the exact opposite of Golobulus, whose original design is informed by flowing and organic forms. Right now, I'm exploring how he could potentially look with a long robe, similar to the one worn by Gary Oldman when he played "old Dracula" in Bram Stoker's Dracula. It's got the lines, shapes, and length I'm looking for, and it obscures his legs, thus preserving the general silhouette of the original Golobulus action figure's design.

Another thing I'm musing about... in the 1987 movie, Cobra-La was based in the Himalayas, right? I've been toying with the idea of making Golobulus a monk-type guy, I think the Shaolin wusheng robe has many of the elements of the original Golobulus design (the single sleeve off-shoulder look). Golobulus doesn't have to be Central Asian per se... since my version is based in L.A., he could be just another impressionable American/European who's bought into some pseudo-Asian organic living bullshit cult and dresses accordingly.

I could see a monk-type robe being a good simulation for the snake body.

Interesting point about the wheelchair and the "organic" stuff, Zulu. Again, it helps to highlight the differences between him and CC- Golob is about organics and harmony, whereas CC is all about technology.

I never liked Monkeywrench, but I love that redesign.
Who's face is that? Is that Brock Lesnar used for Road Pig?

I used Brock Lesnar for the upper two-thirds of the face, yeah. Triple H for the torso, and some random male model for the lower body. |

I was originally going to use deceased WWF wrestler Dino Bravo for Road-Pig's face (I used to play my Road-Pig figure as Dino Bravo when I played out wrestling scenarios with my Joes... the original figure totally looks like him) but Bravo's features are too soft for the look I wanted to go for.

I just noticed the cigerette in MW's hand. Nice touch.
