I agree, Croc Master looks awesome. As for CG, I think the helmet and visor doesn't quite work--it should be more of a battle helmet. And his uniform appears to dressy, like he's going to a formal ceremony. I think it should be more functional from an operator's point of view.
BTW: when are you going to do Sky Patrol? That would make a great HALO/HAHO team.

Not sure how I feel about the Crimson Guard. Maybe something more Waffen SS would add to the look. It seems a little plain. Maybe no bloused pant legs, but maybe the sidearm on the leg? I think it needs something. I'm thinking Nazi Kroenen from Hellboy. It could be that the image of the CG we are use to has a head which is smaller than is normal when you consider he is wearing a helmet. I don't want to criticize Z I love all your work. Maybe lengthen the coat a tad?

Looking good, z. I dig everything except the helmet on the Crimson Guardsman. As a ceremonial look I guess it makes sense. But it would make just as much if not more for there to be no mask, since their surgically altered, similar faces *are* their masks. Glad you're back.

I've thought about just giving the CG an unmasked look as you suggested MT, but I'm not sure how well that maintains the connection to the original design (it's certainly not one of the first looks that come to mind when I think CG). The helmet design was partially inspired by the Crimson Guard Immortal helmet (hence the full-sized goggles, and not the eye-slit of the 1985 toy). But the more I think about the uniform being a ceremonial/formal thing, the more I'm leaning towards giving the CG a ceremonial knight-styled helmet that will have more in common with the 1985 toy's helmet, since pairing a parade dress uniform with 17th, 18th, or 19th century headgear is actually done in many military organizations (such as with the British Army's Household Cavalry or in any number of corps of drums or regimental bands). What do you guys think? Quote:

Loving Croc Master. Total bad-ass.
Eel is great. Really liking the CG. I like the mask. It looks close to the figure, but gets rid of the figures "out there" look.

Leave it to Zuludelta for having the Joe Team, an extremely, highly trained, higher education special missions force. Good job.

Yeah it's a bummer about Sky Patrol, but I've long since moved on. (Still some of your best work IMO)
But I don't know about the ceremonial Headgear, although I like the length of Household's Cavalry coats.

Great work as always man, you've really refined and evolved the aesthetic theme. Your images are starting to take on a cohesive look, like they all belong in the same universe, if that makes sense.
