Hey, where is everyone? Been a while since anyone posted, so I'll put a few things in. Zulu, great job as usual. All the cards have great flavor in them. I love your subtle references, suchas Backstop and "The Persuader." Did you design your Beach Head before you saw the POC one? Very similar, especially in your choice of a firearm. With Lifeline, is the "Rope Suspension SME" a reference to the v2 figure? And did he, in your mind, join SFD at age 18 or so, do the requisite 3 years as an EMT, and then enlist 5 years after becoming a paramedic? If so, that would definitely make him one of the older Joes.

Been busy with some things in the real world. Trying to recharge for the Cobra portion of the project as well.

Yup, wanted to make him more senior than he's traditionally been portrayed. |

That's what I thought, Z. Makes him about 40 or so. Much better than the cartoon version, less whiny. It's funny, I always thought he looked like a flight medic when he first came out.

The look (for the shirt, jacket, and trousers) was actually inspired by a costume made by a HISStank member (can't remember who it was, if you're reading this, feel free to chime in so I can credit you). Decided to go with the chromed/mirrored faceplate instead of the cowl, though, as I wanted a design more reminiscent of the original 1982 toy. Also decided to include the odd belt buckle design from the toy... always wondered what it was supposed to be. I'll be using it as the Commander's rank insignia... I think it's appropriate, especially since in the comics, Cobra started out as a get rich quick pyramid scheme.
